International Students In Australia

International Cultural Exchange (ICE) is commonly understood as people of one country visit another country, to learn about a new culture while exhibiting their own culture. Back in the U.S., Cheryl Matherly, vice president and vice provost for international affairs at Lehigh University, a Pennsylvania institution that hosts more than 700 Chinese 留学移民中介 students and scholars on its campus, said the university has one student in Wuhan and three others who are elsewhere in China unable to return for the spring semester.

It really all depends on what you expect from studying in another country, whether it is the experience of living in another place, the specialized skill's you learn, or the affordability of a degree compared to an equivalent university course in your home country.

Like most people contemplating study abroad, before they leave home, Chinese students look forward to the opportunities for cross-cultural exchange and friendship that they think studying in Australia will bring The future students I have met in China pre-departure have all expressed excitement about the opportunities they foresee to get to know Australian peers, learn about a contemporary western culture, and experience local social life in Australia.
In another previous study of Chinese students' communicative competence in the University of Canberra in Australia, Liu (2004) investigated how Chinese students "made the full use of speaking environment" in Australia to "improve their communicative competence".
A report released on Aug 20 by an Australian think-tank, the Centre for Independent Studies, claimed that Australian universities had exposed themselves to "high levels of financial risk" and warned that the influx could suddenly end if the Chinese economy slows or its currency weakens.

She exposed the Chinese students' difficulties in collaborative relationships with their New Zealand peers and in seeking help from teaching staff as well as the differences in communication and learning between their first culture and the host culture.
I suspect a lot of international students from developing countries have profoundly different world views from Western perspectives, and many or even most see China's rise as a force for good (all things considered, acknowledging the negatives), vs the US-centric view sees China as a threat.
